While by now I would have hoped to have a venue, a date, maybe even a dress, none of that has happened. COIVD has put a little bit of a pause on our planning.

Although I’m already deep into the research phase of the process and Pinning my heart out daily, Buck and I have decided we’re not stressing (OR at least trying not to haha) about making solid plans until a vaccine.

So, since planning is on hold, and for the pure fun of it, Buck and I took engagement photos recently that we will eventually use as a Save the Date. Honestly, taking these photos made me SO happy, and despite not being able to plan much right now, gave me a sense of accomplishment.

Without further ado, here are a few of our favorites, as well as some outtakes…because there was no way we could keep a straight face when our photographer asked Buck to “smell my hair” or “fly like a bird.” Take a peak for yourself :

I set out with the goal of starting this blog almost three years ago. Since then, I’ve come up with a million excuses to NOT do it. I was always too busy, too stressed, too boring, or too scared. But, you know the saying, you can’t fail if you never try. So here I am, finally trying!

If you don’t know me personally, hello and welcome! I’m so excited you’re here. Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m 28 years old, a content specialist at Facebook, and currently living in Hermosa Beach with my wonderful fiancé, Buck and our adorable new dog, Breck. I’m warning you now that I probably will be sharing A LOT about our engagement and wedding planning in the months to come.

Buck and I JUST moved to San Francisco a few months before COVID hit. Although we were enjoying the city, our home will probably always be Hermosa Beach where we first started dating. After 9 months in the city, we moved back to Hermosa to work remotely until our jobs require us to come back. Best decision we’ve ever made.

I created this blog simply just because I wanted to share with you all things I love most like: travel adventures, impulse purchases, weird and wonderful trends, planning creative dates, and super easy and minimal recipes.
